Istanbul with Veon from £2,500 Sapphire FUE · personalised graft plan · all-inclusive package*
Quality care at a sensible price

The number of grafts is determined individually based on your hair loss pattern and the safe capacity of your donor area. The aim is not to extract the maximum possible number of grafts, but to use the appropriate number for your personalised transplant plan. UK prices are shown as an indicative private-clinic comparison. Your final Veon treatment plan and price are confirmed after your preliminary assessment.

Four techniques, one goal: natural-looking density

The appropriate technique depends on your donor area, hair loss pattern, existing hair and the coverage you need. The medical team recommends the approach after assessing your individual case.

Sapphire blades

Sapphire FUE

Designed for larger treatment areas

Hair follicles are extracted individually from the donor area. In the recipient area, channels are created using sapphire blades to help plan the angle, direction and distribution of the transplanted grafts. Sapphire FUE can be suitable when larger areas need to be covered or a higher number of grafts is required.

Who may it suit? Patients who need coverage across larger areas.

Your graft number and transplant plan are determined individually.

Choi implanter

DHI

Precision between existing hair

Grafts are implanted using a Choi implanter without creating the recipient channels in advance. This approach allows the medical team to control the angle, direction and depth of implantation during placement.

Who may it suit? Patients who require precise placement, particularly when working between existing hair.

In suitable cases, DHI may be performed without fully shaving the hair.

Combined approach

FUE + DHI

Coverage where needed, precision where it matters

In selected cases, Sapphire FUE and DHI can be combined within the same treatment plan. For example, Sapphire FUE may be used for broader areas, while DHI can be used for the frontal hairline or areas requiring more precise placement.

Who may it suit? Patients whose treatment plan requires both broader coverage and precise work in selected areas.

The combination of techniques is determined individually after assessment.

No full shave

Unshaven FUE

A more discreet option for suitable patients

Grafts are extracted from the donor area without fully shaving the hair. Keeping part of the surrounding hair can make the early post-treatment period less noticeable in everyday life.

Who may it suit? Patients who prefer not to fully shave their hair for professional or personal reasons.

Not suitable for everyone. Suitability is determined after assessment of the donor area.

There is no single “best” technique for everyone.

The right approach depends on your donor area, hair loss pattern, existing hair and treatment goals. Your medical team recommends the technique, or combination of techniques, after assessing your individual case.

Do I need a hair transplant?

If you notice any of these in the mirror, it may be worth getting assessed

Hair loss develops differently for everyone. A preliminary assessment helps determine your pattern of hair loss, donor capacity and whether hair transplantation may be appropriate for you.

  • Receding temples

The hairline begins to move back around the temples while the central frontal area remains relatively preserved. An assessment can help determine whether the hairline can be restored and how many grafts may be required.

  • Thinning at the crown

The crown may gradually become thinner, often becoming more noticeable under bright light or in photos taken from above. An assessment helps determine the extent of thinning and whether the area is suitable for transplantation.

  • Overall loss of density

Your hair may look flatter or the scalp may become more visible even without a clearly defined bald area. An assessment helps identify which areas may benefit from additional coverage while considering the available donor supply.

  • High or uneven hairline

A naturally high or asymmetric hairline does not always mean hair loss. In suitable cases, a new hairline can be planned according to facial proportions, existing hair and donor capacity.

  • Patchy beard growth

Gaps or areas of limited beard growth may also be assessed for transplantation. Beard restoration uses the same donor-hair principle, with the direction and placement of grafts planned to follow the existing beard pattern.

  • A previous transplant that may need correction

An unnatural hairline, visible gaps or insufficient density after a previous procedure may be assessed for corrective treatment. The medical team first reviews your existing result and remaining donor capacity before recommending a plan.

Not sure whether you're suitable?

Send a few photos for a preliminary assessment. The medical team can review your hair loss pattern and donor area before recommending the next step.

The donor and recipient areas are numbed with local anaesthesia. You may feel brief discomfort while the anaesthetic is being administered, but the procedure itself is usually performed without significant pain. Some tenderness, tightness or mild swelling may occur during the first few days.
The number of grafts is determined individually after assessing your donor area, degree of hair loss, treatment area and desired coverage. The aim is not simply to extract the highest possible number of grafts, but to achieve appropriate coverage while preserving the safe capacity of the donor area.
New hair growth usually starts to become noticeable at around months 3–4. Over the following months, the hair gradually becomes thicker and changes in density become more visible. A fuller assessment of the result is usually possible at around 10–12 months.*
Temporary shedding of some transplanted hair can be a normal part of the growth cycle after the procedure. It is most commonly seen during the first weeks or months, after which new growth gradually begins.*
For most hair transplant programmes, approximately 2–3 days in Istanbul is usually sufficient. The recommended length of stay depends on your individual procedure plan and the timing of your follow-up check.
Your Veon package is created around your individual treatment plan and may include the hair transplant procedure, accommodation, transfers, required follow-up stages and coordination during your stay in Istanbul. The exact package contents are confirmed in your personalised proposal before you travel.
After the procedure, the medical team provides guidance on washing, aftercare and protecting the transplanted area. During recovery, your coordinator remains in contact and, when needed, follow-up photos are shared with the medical team to assess healing and hair-growth progress. Results and graft survival vary between individuals, so the same survival percentage cannot be guaranteed for every patient.

*Recovery, shedding and hair-growth timelines are individual and may vary.
