Quality care at a sensible price

The starting price shown is for the upper-eyelid package. Lower, combined and other eyelid procedures are priced individually. Your final surgical plan and price are confirmed after preliminary surgeon assessment.

Four approaches, tailored to your eyes

Your surgeon chooses based on your anatomy, what bothers you, and what you want to keep about your eyes.

Most common

Upper Blepharoplasty

Removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelid, opening up hooded or heavy lids. It often opens the gaze and makes applying makeup easier.

Lower Blepharoplasty

Removes or repositions fat under the eyes, transconjunctival (no external scar) where possible, and tightens lax skin to address eye bags and tear-trough hollows.

If you're seeing any of these in the mirror

Hooded or heavy lids

Skin falling over the lash line. It makes the eyes look smaller and tired, and sometimes blocks peripheral vision.

Eye bags & puffiness

Fat herniation under the eye, most pronounced in the morning. It does not fade with sleep or hydration.

Tear-trough hollows

A dark, sunken groove between cheek and lower lid, often paired with eye bags above. Filler is a temporary fix.

Festoons / malar bags

Fluid pockets on the upper cheek that worsen through the day and after salty food. A specialised technique is required.

Asymmetry between eyes

One eye looking smaller, more tired or more hooded than the other. This can be corrected with a side-specific adjustment.

A constantly tired look

“You look exhausted”, when you are not. The eyes age first, and refreshing them lifts the whole face without changing it.

Suitability is confirmed by a surgeon after a photo assessment.

Eyelid surgery is performed at Hisar Intercontinental, a JCI-accredited partner hospital in Istanbul. Having plastic surgery and ophthalmology on the same site matters for blepharoplasty: the tissue being operated on sits directly around the eye. The hospital's own surgical team carries out the procedure; Veon Health coordinates everything around it in English, from your first preliminary assessment to follow-up after you return home.

Veon Health is a coordination platform, not a medical provider. Accreditation documents are available on request, and the hospital and the surgeon responsible for your case are named in your treatment plan before you travel. Hospital photograph shown with the partner's consent.

A clear path. Most are back to work in a week

★★★★★

“In the UK my rhinoplasty was quoted at £8,000 with a six-month wait. In Istanbul it was a fraction of that, and I was home within 10 days. Faultless service.”

Almost never. Upper blepharoplasty incisions sit inside the natural upper-eyelid crease and fade into invisibility by month three. Lower blepharoplasty is usually transconjunctival: the incision is on the inside of the lid, so there is no external scar at all. Where external incisions are needed, they are placed just under the lash line.
Upper blepharoplasty results typically last 10–15 years or more, because the skin does not grow back. Lower blepharoplasty addressing fat, which is most cases, is usually permanent because the herniated fat is removed or repositioned rather than stretched. You continue to age normally, but from a different starting point.
Usually no. Most blepharoplasties are performed under local anaesthesia with light sedation, so you are comfortable but not unconscious. You walk out, eat dinner and sleep at the hotel. General anaesthesia is reserved for combined procedures or for patient preference.
Most upper blepharoplasty patients fly home the day after surgery. For lower or combined cases we recommend staying 5–7 days for the stitches-out visit and to make sure swelling has subsided enough for comfortable travel. Your surgeon issues a fit-to-fly clearance.
Done well, no. The goal is to refresh the eyes, open them up and lighten the under-eye area, without changing their shape or character. A 3D simulation is used in consultation so you can preview the proposed result, and nothing proceeds until you have approved the plan.
If the upper lid muscle is weak (true ptosis), or if heavy skin is blocking your peripheral vision, a small muscle adjustment is added. Oculoplastic surgeons handle this routinely: it is a small addition to the same procedure, through the same incision.
